Jordan Coffing is a well established vocalist and film composer in the DFW metroplex who’s credits include the original score for Michelle Mower’s “The Never List” and the short film “The Stories We Tell Ourselves.”
Coffing attended the world renowned High School For the Performing and Visual arts in Houston TX and holds a degree in Vocal Jazz Performance from the internationally acclaimed University of North Texas, where she had the opportunity to learn from living legends such as Rosana Eckert, Bobby Mcferrin and Peter Eldridge.
Jordan is a seasoned session vocalist and performer. Her style is evocative and captivating, playfully finessing even the most sophisticated melodies, all the while displaying a tone that is lush and compelling. She started recording at the age of 8 singing as the voice of Tracy Partridge in the 1999 biopic "Come On Get Happy" and at 15 recorded the background vocals for a TV theme featuring Chaka Kahn. Coffing's voice is dynamic, versatile and spans multiple genres including choral, pop, jazz and country. As a performer, she has played alongside Dallas' top musicians for events such as the Industrial Street Pop Festival and Jazz On The Green at Klyde Warren Park and can also be seen performing her original music-an eclectic mix of indie rock and jazz-under the moniker RHU.
